External hard drive for Logic Pro X?

Hi. I am currently downloading Logic Pro X and it is going to use up a lot of my memory.

Anyone recommend an external hard drive most suitable for Logic Pro on my Macbook? Thanks.
 
For audio, anything seems to work. I've used relatively slow spinning media (5400rpm) on USB 2 connections with no problem. I do currently have my projects in dual drive enclosures configured for RAID1 (mirroring) connected over USB 3. That's fast enough for video (Final Cut Pro) projects, even.

I still have spinning disks, but these days I think most folks would choose SSDs.
