I am toying with the idea of using some outboard gear in my mixing.
I use an EMU 1616m and I was thinking of adding more inputs connecting an M-Audio Profire 2626 (running standalone, i.e. disconnected from the PC) via ADAT.
Would that work? What do I need to know/keep in mind?
