EV N/D 408B Mic

Do any of you have any experience with using the EV N/D 408B to mic a kick drum? I have seen a couple of these mics for cheap money but I don't know if they are worth it. I did a search in this forum and came up with nothing.
I am currently using an Audio Technica ATM25 to mic kick drums and I am getting some decent results.

Stick with the ATM25 on kick, especially since you like it. But grab up a couple or three of those 408/B's if you have the chance. They are one of my all-time favorite tom mics, and they take up about a tenth of the real estate of a Sennheiser 421!
