Ok I finally admit it! I am beginning to loathe Cakewalk (after nearly two years of blind devotion to this product) and I’m thinking seriously about changing to Cubase. So which version would you recommend? I have an old version (1.6) on CD, would this be a good place to start the learning curve (again) or should I jump in at the deep end with the all singing all dancing version.
The vast majority of what I do is guitar and vocal audio with midi drum tracks. Whilst I don’t need the capability to be able to record 20 tracks of audio, I do have a computer capable of the job.
I am reasonably computer literate and any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
