Cubase connecting to Roland FA07

I am trying to get me Cubase 12 Artist to control my keyboard...

The keyboard is connected to the pc & Cubase and working - I can record audio and midi manually. However, I cannot get them to sync together so that I can start or stop the keyboard playback from the pc/Cubase.

I have been researching online with both Roland and Cubase, and have not found anything that helps with this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You've setup the relevant channels and codes in the DAW section of the manual? Then done the settings in Cubase to match them? The Roland has quite a few things it can do apart from start stop and 'tape' controls - Both manuals suggest they will work, but it looks like the Roland is where you need to put in the work.
