Can anyone share some information with me about using Cakewalk 9 sync'ed to a portable daw (Korg, Tascam, Aaki, Roland, and anyone else that makes one)?
I am currently using Cakewalk HS9, MOTU PC midi express, Emu and Alesis sound modules, and a Yamaha keyboard as the controller. I am thinking of adding a D16 (1st choice) or a VS1*80 (2nd) to this setup to record audio.
I understand the theory of how to sync them, I just wonder if anyone out the has done this, and if so, would like to pass along any useful tips or tricks to do this and keep it running stable.
Also, does anyone know how to recieve controller 6 messages into 1 port, then output them as a different type to another? is this even possible?
