It's difficult to hear the second guitar that comes in after the opening riffing guitar. There's a frequency war going on. You can hear it. But there needs to be more separation. You can hear that, too.

My initial thought is try kicking up the bpm a little bit maybe

I get what you're saying and hearing.
I think a bit of eq variation could improve the separation and distinction of the guitars. Will revisit.

Hadn't really considered tempo change, it's always been a droning sludgey feeling thing.
But certainly won't rule it out.
