Ok I posted on the wrong place so here I go again. Im not english so please be patients with me - Im a girl to and blond lol

I bought a Behringer x1222 and it arrived yesterday. I do home recordings for myself and had an Allen&Heath mixer that worked fine but I bought practicing gear for band practicing and the mixer arrived with the speakers. So here I go. When I sing or record I like to have a little effect on my voice cause it sounds better in the headphones but when I record the signal on the previous mixer it went dry into my mac onto my recording gear so I mixed it myself and add whatever I want to add. There was a setting on the old mixer that you can send the effects you have on the mixer to the recorded song and use it as is which is stupid cause you can not change anything. With this X1222USB the effects on the mixer is also sending the effects to the recording and I can not switch it off anywhere. WHere is a setting so I can send the signal dry to the daw and I mixed it after recording but also keep the effects on my voice while I'm recording in my headphones. I hope this makes sense. Seriously. Want no effects on the recorded song or voice iin cubase so I can mix it myself. Can i switch it off somewhere. The manual is not very helpful on this X1222 USB Behringer xenyx.

The Xenyx X1222USB doesn't have the necessary features for studio recording because it was never intended to perform that function. It is designed to record live mixes of shows and rehearsals.
