I've owned the Apex for about 10 years and just recently decided to upgrade it.
I upgraded the transformer to Peluso BV11P, new capsule, and tube. It worked great for a few weeks till I opened it up to replace one of the caps.
Sadly, about 4 of the wires popped off inside.
I think I've managed to get them all put back together... but now the mic doesn't work.
I can hear it when I tap on the mic and scrape my nails off the grille, but no voice.. it's as though the amp circuit is working from the tube.. but no input from the capsule.
I've scoured the net to try and find pictures showing where the wires connect. They've helped somewhat, but I still have a dead mic.
Any idea where I can get wiring diagrams? Thanks!
