Total newbie... experienced musician experimenting with going back to analog tape!
I just purchased what I thought were two AG440-C tape recorders both in roll around consoles.
They are both AG445-REPRODUCERS! My question...if I install the missing record and bias cards and missing record and erase heads, do they become 440’s?? Everything else looks identical...
