acid wont read microphone or interface?

acid wont pick up my microphone it is a Apex 435 running through a US-122L Tascam Interface. any help? The interface is picking up the mic

Go into preferences...then select the audio device tab....and look on the scroll list for your interface...as long as you have installed the drivers necessary to use that interface with your operating system it should be on that list...if not i am of no help

Get the latest ASIO drivers if you don't have em already.

I beleive a Cubase cd would have included those, they work with every mixer and interface I've ever used.
