Ableton Live 5 Help Please

I have just got Ableton Live 5 soley for the purpose of making instrumentals. I have used it for a couple of days now and it really is confusing a bit. I wanna make beats like i said and i dont know what to start with..cover first ? drum sets ? I need help with it..can anyone offer me advice on how to get started making instrumentals ?? and how they do there drum loops and etc..?

The drum sampler that's built in to Live is called the 'Impulse' and there is a multi-purpose sampler too that's called the 'Simpler'.

Both of these contain enough preset sounds to make five thousand beats. When you get through with them, you can import your own sound files for even more flexible fun.

Read the manual as to how to use both of them.
