Seems to have hit a new low yesterday. As if hundreds of people drowning in the mediteranian wasn't bad enough. Police have just found 70 people dead crammed into the back of a small lorry. Grim.

I lived in Germany during the war in Yugoslavia. Lots of people there claiming refugee status, but if you ask them privately they tell you it was purely economic.

I did see where Hungry is trying to actually process all of the ones that are showing up there. If that is an entry point, other EU countries should be assisting to help process at the very least.
