Im curious what everyones using these days to buy and sell gear?

Is Ebay still king? Cragslist? Reverb? Home Recording?

2017 any pro's or con's

I've sold two cars, a PA system, and a rack reverb unit on Craigslist, so I'm a fan. It's free and allows you to post photos. What's not to like?

On the other hand, I've never tried to sell anythng on eBay or Homerec.

I just sold my sax on CL this weekend. I've had some success in the past with it; sometimes it takes a while. I have one bass amp for sale listed on CL and no calls.

Whatever I put up on ebay, I've sold. One time I sold a keyboard for about 2.5x the price I thought it would sell at. I was happy. I'm about ready to put up a mic pre on eBay and maybe that bass amp.

I have had good and bad experiences with selling/buying on HR. There is a good guy list and bad guy list in the For Sale section.

We have Gumtree here (which is like CL), which is good for local buying and selling, but I use eBay quite a lot and have picked up some great bargains over the years.

Alan.
