‘Hateful Eight’ Makers Never Told Martin How Its Priceless Guitar Was Destroyed

I read the Reverb article the other day, and yesterday's follow-up after the Martin Museum director learned the real story. Makes me cringe just thinking about it. Well, at least that guitar's swan song is immortalized on film...

And no thinks anything about Kurt Russell in a Quentin Tarantino movie???
Tarantino has jumped the shark. And I don't even care much for his movies.

I actually like Tarantino's movies. He's kind of a curator of an era of film that I never got to experience myself. Although this latest one...I can't say that I'm too eager to see it. After learning the concept for it, and knowing my general dislike of "bottle episode" kinds of plots, I might just wait until it comes out on HBO.

The guitar shouldn't even have been on the set in the first place. Once it was copied, it should've gone back to Martin. Idiots.

Saw the movie. Figured the guitar was a run-of-the-mill one. Watched it get destroyed. Read this article. Still don't care.
