    What's diff in the student version the reason to why I want the full is because my projects are getting larger than the 64 or 68 audio track limit to the studio bersion

    Nothing, just the price, and the inability to get a discounted upgrade from it. It is the exact same software.

    If you purchased C7 full retail version, the upgrade to C8 would likely be $150. If you purchase the student version of C7, it would be full price for upgrading to the next version of Cubase.
