Iv been using this for several years on drums and also since channles 1 and 2 have an instrument input, I have used it as a bass DI. works great on both...its basically 8 channels of DMP3. it has lightpipe outs as well... I have upgraded a lot of my pres and now I dont need these 8 channels....I am interrested in trading for something in the 2 to 4 channel range....I can add a little cash to sweet the deal if needed....
