the MXL1000 is a handheld condenser made in 2000ish. I'll post a picture.

Nothing from the PM2000 will fit the PM1800. The PM2000 was based on discrete opamps, similar to the API Legacy consoles. The PM1800 was based on tl072/74 opamps.
