Just upgraded the setup to Firewire 800 as I added interfaces/converters and needed to expand bandwidth.
Perfectly functioning and looking Firecard 400 (by Unibrain) PCMCIA card (or "express" cardbus card I guess they call it now) with heavy duty 6 foot 6pin to 6pin Firewire cable. Uses TI chipset (really the only chipset that you should for audio FW interfaces) and installs perfectly with XP/Vista/Windows 7 without any need for external drivers. Link to specs for the card:

These have really dropped in price - about $30-35 shipped new...so how about $22 shipped with the cable (I'll cover the paypal fees) from me?
