Welcome to HR!
You're known as the guy who uses fairly heavy compression on tracks as a tool for achieving a great mix sound.
With the proliferation of DAWs and plug-ins, compression is the "magic" buzzword for many home/project studio newbs, and one of the more complicated tools that many initially struggle with. We get a lot of questions from newbs here on the forums about the use of compression.
What do you feel are the more important considerations that newbs should have when first reaching for all those compressors, so that they can achieve desirable results rather than mangled tracks?
Thank you for your time!
