You've done producing, mixing, coaching, writing of books....etc....is there any one of those things that you truly enjoy doing the most...the one that feels the least like work and the most like a labor of love?
The thing I love the most is working out a song with a band, either in the studio or rehearsal, or just teaching them how to get better. It's incredibly gratifying to start with something that might be a train wreck and end up with something that sounds like a finished product. That's one of the reasons that I like working with young bands. I wish I did it more.
