If only for a moment.....
Are there any particular nuances to a mix that would cause you to not enjoy the song ? In other words, are there things in a mix that really annoy you {like some people hate hard panned drums or whatever} ?
How does a mix influence your enjoyment of a song ?

No. As the legendary producer/engineer Ken Scott says, "No one ever decided not to buy a song because the high hat or snare was 2 dB too high or low." A great mix can really help a great song, but it can't help a bad one. The opposite is also true.
