Electrical Buzz from Zip drive

Anyone had problems picking up electrical noise on FD-4 from their external zip drive?

My only work thus far has been guitar tracks input thru the 1/4" and xlr inputs (no miked recordings). I know part of the problem is the proximity of my guitar's pickups to the zip drive. I would move farther away except it is difficult to operate the FD-4 (without a footswitch) from a distance.

yea I've had the same problem with the FD-8.

After I play around with it maybe I can fix mine and let you know!
