Cubase SX with remote controller

Hello all,

I bought me the evolution uc-16 remote controller and I have a problem

when I load a vsti to a track and assign my midi keyboard to it
only the midi from the keyboard is passing thru and none from
the controller, I have to make all midi to pass them both

how can I tell cubase to pass the midi from the controller ALWAYS
to any midi device there is ??

Is there a way ?

a second of all, when I setup in General Controller it seems that
if I use a specifeid plug in and then use another all my midi conf is
gone ... Can't I do something steady ?

I'm not sure exactly...but I use SX and just ordered a UC-16 off of ebay so I may be able to shed some light on the topic soon...or at least work through it with you..

Are you connecting the UC16 with the USB port or into a midi interface? If midi, are you chaining it with the keyboard or does it have its own input?

I would imagine if you chained the keyboard and controller into the same input and had them on the same channel that *might* do it. But I think using the midi out on that controller requires a power supply thats not included.

I'll check my cubase manual and get back to you if i find anything out...
