Drum Room

Hey guys, finished the interior of my new drum room last night. it's a regular frame building...about 8 foot by 8 foot. double sheet rock on the inside. the question i have is about isolation. I'm thinking of building a completely seperate exterior wall around the outside of it..using thick layers of plywood and what not, and putting a seperate door to this exterior shell. how much isolation would i get from this type of design? thanks alot guys.

You seem to be missing telling us a few details... is the current room floated? does it have ANY holes in it (for cables, HVAC etc), any windows? How is the ceiling constructed? does it touch any existing walls in your house right now?

All of these things (and more) will make a difference.
