VF remote

is it totally impossible to play VF08 (or 80) remotely? does it always have to be master., i just want to play + stop remotely,, nothing more.,,

I wonder if there's a simple midi touchpad device that could be used... I'd love one because I record my own vocals about 20 feet away from the VF80.

You can use a punch in/out pedal for that.

I don't have the VF08, but I do have an older FD8 that I can control remotely using MMC. (midi machine control) I've also used my laptop to send MMC. I'm about to try using my Midi pedal board as a controller to send MMC messages.
