got a pre for my vf80

Got a Presonus blue preamp for my vf80 and plugged it in with my sm57 (I know, neither are the best there is), and HOLY MACKEREL, ANDY, what a difference! I've been struggling along with dynamic mikes and no external pres for 3 months. You all who recommended the preamp were right. Cleaner, louder, and quieter! The drive feature is interesting--I don't play electric, but it seems to give a nice warm slightly growly bite or whatever you
call it to my nylon string. My voice is so great it can't be improved on, but it sounds good too.

I got the large and small condenser package from M.Friend at the same time as the preamp. I haven't plugged them in yet. Presumably they'll sound better that the Shure, but we'll se. So far, so good.
