FREEZE! You really want it? Here it is!
You've heard about Logic 6s beautiful Freeze feature? And you think it's sounds like a really good way so save CPU-power?
Then you should go here: http://www.fxfreeze.com/ It's not finished yet, but will apparently soon be. Just thought I would share this with you Cubase-loosers. Okay, you're good people! ![]()

Buy more RAM
how much is it gonna cost? With todays memory prices falling all the time there's no need to have a shortage of memory in your DAW.

It's really a moot point now. It's to be incorporated into Cubase sx 2.0. See the Steinberg website for a Quicktime movie demonstrating the feature.

![]() SX 2.0 is looking really good. I told myself I wasn't going to upgrade right away, but man the added features look really good and to finally get the OMF compatibility that they have been promising....man the future is looking good! |

It may be OT, but what is OMF ? I've certainly heard it mentioned but I really have no idea what it is.

OMF is the 'standard' for exporting and importing projects between platforms. So far ProTools, Sonar, Logic and Nuendo supports it (I think).
