FREEZE! You really want it? Here it is!

You've heard about Logic 6s beautiful Freeze feature? And you think it's sounds like a really good way so save CPU-power?

Then you should go here:

http://www.fxfreeze.com/

It's not finished yet, but will apparently soon be.

Just thought I would share this with you Cubase-loosers.
Okay, you're good people!

Buy more RAM

how much is it gonna cost? With todays memory prices falling all the time there's no need to have a shortage of memory in your DAW.

It's really a moot point now. It's to be incorporated into Cubase sx 2.0. See the Steinberg website for a Quicktime movie demonstrating the feature.

I saw this post at work and knew it was going to be in SX2 but didn't have time to post it and now Alchemist beat me to it

SX 2.0 is looking really good. I told myself I wasn't going to upgrade right away, but man the added features look really good and to finally get the OMF compatibility that they have been promising....man the future is looking good!

It may be OT, but what is OMF ? I've certainly heard it mentioned but I really have no idea what it is.

OMF is the 'standard' for exporting and importing projects between platforms. So far ProTools, Sonar, Logic and Nuendo supports it (I think).
