CD Duplication hardware
I'm reasearching Desktop CD Duplication. I'd love to be able to do short runs, like 50 or 100 for some of my clients. Does anyone know anything about this product? or have other suggestions?

The Bravo is around $1600.... Its very simular to the Telex and Microboard dupers. CDR replicators can be found cheaper if your willing to get a 16X instead of the newer and faster ones. Overnight batch is the only way to fly. Now if you can just get jewel cases done is a semi efficient and professional way Id be happy

How does the printing look on the CDs? Will it pass for pro duplication?

Pretty close, most folks may not notice. For me its CDR, I can recognize cdr's verses stamped. But most bands who are looking at 50 to 100 discs want them as cheapies for buddies or free givaways at shows. If the artist who did the artwork keeps it simple and isn't abusive it should look pretty snazzy.
Ive seen some ugly artwork. Find a rep and ask for some print samples before you buy. SoMm |
