Send Effects vrs Insert Effects
I'm just thinking out loud so please feel free to correct or confirm my thoughts.
SEND effects are effects used or shared by every track. They give you the ability to mix wet/dry signals? Uses might be reverb, delay? INSERT effects are used for that track only. Wet signal only? uses might be compression, overdrive? I'm learning as I go, I have no background in sound engineering.<in case that wasn't obvious enough> ![]() Thanks in advance, SpaceBoy |

You have it. If you want to use the same effect w/settings on different tracks, then use the sends (it also saves on CPU usage). For an effect that is only going on one track, insert it.
