Monitor Options for New Studio

Hi. I'm fairly new to the forums so I thought I'd introduce myself. Myself and two friends have all worked in pro studios as well as owned our own modest home studios. We are starting our own studio and have sold most of our individual setups (although we have kept a lot of stuff to be used in the new studio) We've already been incredibly lucky at finding unbelievable bargains on some gear. We have already acquired a 2" Tape to ProTools HD setup. There will also be a "B Room" with Mackie D8b to a pair of HDR24/96 Recorders. We are trying to figure out our monitoring situation. We already have from our old studios: 2pr. Yamaha NS10M, 2pr. Mackie 824s, 1pr Genelec 1030As. The plan is to use the Genelecs as soffit-mounted mains in the B Room with a pair of NS10s and a pair of Mackies for nearfield. We plan on purchasing a pair of Genelec 1038Bs for soffit-mounted mains in the A Room with the other NS10s and 824s as nearfields. Does this sound like a good plan? Any other suggestions?

Sorry. We can't comment on any monitors that cost more than $300.

Sounds like a good setup to me.

Did I miss something in my absence?
