Try this one ***Roland problem with midi channel 16***

I use a pc based system running Logic5. With this I use a Roland XP30 which is excellent and have never had a ny problems with. However when I use it with Logic (in perform mode) if I click on the 16 midi track on arrange or mixer window the keyboard changes from part mode to layer mode. Does anybody know why this happens as I do often need all 16 channels. Thanks in advance for any advice.
