does sonar rellay apply compression when your recording a new track or does it apply it after track is recorded

AFAIK Sonar does not apply anything while recording. If you are using input monitoring, you can monitor the effect, but the recording will still be dry.
It should be easy enough to test. Record a track using a very heavy effect. Then remove the effect from the Patch Box and see if you can still hear it. |
