using AudioSpace with DXi's - problem

I'm using AudioSpace - a little stand alone utility that lets you audition samples from different folders. It's nice being able to browse through your sounds from one place. There's a slight problem though... whenever I have a DXi patched to Sonar's Fx channel, AudioSpace won't play the sounds. Removing the DXi allows the sound to play again. Any thoughts / suggestions? Thanks.

I don't know if it related or not, but do you have the boxed checked to Allow Sonar to Share Drivers?

Other than that, the only other guess I have is that possibly DXi's can't be shared among programs.
