This is an excerpt from an EBay ad for Pioneer SE-50's. I can't attest to its accuracy, so take it for what it's worth. If you have other headsets in mind look on EBay and see if you can find a description.

Performance Specifications

Type: Model SE-50
Matching Impedance: 4 - 16
Frequency Response 20-20,0 00 Hz
Maximum Allowable Input: O.5W (each channel)
Earpiece Elements (2-way system) - 3 inches Cone type for Lows 1 - 9 / 16 inches. Horn-type for Highs
Cord: 16 feet, coiled, with 3-p plug
Weight: 1.351bs {without cord)
Volume controls: Provided on each earpiece, the right and the left, to permit con- trolling of the volume on each channel.
Level controls: Provided on each earpiece, the right and the left, to permit con- trolling of highs on each channel.

FEATURES

* The Model SE-50 is 2-way stereo headphones of the highest quality, employing a 3" cone-type element for reproducing rich, dynamic bass and a horn-type element for subtle, clean , highs
* As a novelty design for stereo headphones, volume controls are provided on the earpieces for controlling the volume of sounds on each channel. This newly added provision permits you to freely control the volume of reproduced sounds in complete balance of the right and the left channels.
* As a level control attenuator is provided for the horn-type element, you can control highs to your taste or to the kind of a music you listen.
* The headband is designed on various human engineering considerations including wearing comfort, easiness of wearing adjustment, easiness in operating of the level controls for highs as well as of the volume controls.

Yes, thank you for that but the se-50's and 1 or 2 more from pioneer I was able to find out about on eBay but had not much luck with the other ones. But thank you anyway.
