CAKEWALK Pro 9 VS Magix Studio Deluxe 7

Hi,

MY Aardvark Q10 just came. But it came with the Magix 7 instead of the pro 9 like I was suppose to get.

I am thinking about calling the dealer and threatening to send it back unless they send me pro 9 CD.

But then I thought wait a minute, what if this Magix is good.

Anybody have any experience with it. Is it good?

I was thinking about upgrading the pro 9 to Sonor 2.2, but that is another $150, so if this Magix is any good I will keep it.

Thanks for your opinions, Tripp

There was a guy who posted here a few weeks ago about not being able to get CW Pro 9 to work with his Q10. He posted a bunch and contacted the dealer and was never able to work it out. I never used the copy that came with my Q10 so I can't help you there. Perhaps with the newer drivers and CW Pro 9 being older the interphase was not working well with it so they made the switch.

Best bet is to e-mail customer service at aardvark and ask them what is up. The one time I needed to e-mail them they were very quick to answer. I've never used Magix either.

Good luck!

Magix 7 vs. Cakewalk Pro 9

Thanks BassMaster "K"

I am not getting any responses from people who have tried Magix 7.

I did email AArdvark and asked Whats up? Still waiting for a response from them.

I had never seen or heard of Magix until the other day. Oh well...

Thanks again, Tripp
