Question Pioneer SE-50 headphones

Can anyone PLEEEEASE provide info with regards to these cans ? (All I know is that they're from the 70's). Does anyone have experience with these particular ones ? Thanks for ANY and ALL details pertaining to these.

yo cjacek,
I've actually got a set of SE-30's and SE-20's. One set I bought back in the 70's when I was in the service and the other set I bought at a yard sale more recently for about $5. Not that great compared to headsets made today, but still sound OK just listening to the stereo. I don't think I'd ever do any tracking with them. They sort of fall off on the top end. The SE-50's I believe added a volume control to each earpiece so you could balance the volume. I looked at EBay quickly and they seem to be going for about $15 to $20. Probably sound better than something cheap at Radio Shack. Usually comes with a nice case as well.

PsyCoNo is on a distinguished road
I have a pair of SE-550's which I use for monitoring purposes during practices and gigs. I don't really have any recent high end products to test them against, but I am happy with what I get with them. They seem to be very utilitarian.
