Triton Studio
thank you for reading this. I have a Korg Trinton Studio keyboard, and I would like to know what I need to go along with it to complete my home studio. Thanks

I am leaning to use the TS right now, but I would like to compose songs, record vocles, semple, and so no. Also, I'm thinking of getting a computer base system to go with the TS. is that a good idea? and if it is, in building the system my self what is best but inexspensive. I am also building a booth, what do i need between booth and keyboard. do i need a mp3 player and why?
I main, whaz tha deal? Holla Back Young. Thanks

ok, first question. Is this going to be a solo project?
second question: what kind of music? There are some links in the Studio forum in a thread called "builing a studio", check those out for material suggestions. There is also discussions of building booths in there as well.

I guess the main question is like Alien asked, is this a solo project with the Triton being the main source for music composition? If so....
The Triton can do everything you want to do at this point on it's own. It has it's own sequencer, which I use to compose songs. It also has a sampler, fully automated mixer, and even high-definition recording tracks for vocals and other instruments. If you are a beginner, you should focus on learning how to use to triton to it's full potential before looking for other external products. This could take you a full year, and that's if you work at it and study it diligently. Things to consider would be good monitoring headphones, and a studio monitor system. Also, a good microphone for vocals. You can spend a lot of money on the computer setup and a software package like Cakewalk or Nuendo, but truthfully, the triton has a nice sequencer of it's own. If your budget is limited, priority would be on a studio monitoring system, headphones, & microphone.

sorry I didn't get back sooner, been busy. That is a good idea, I will do just that. but I want to work with any kind of music; starting with Rap and R&B. Also, I have a pair of monitor made by SAMSON call RESOLV 50a (active studio monitor). I started working with the sequencer but I can only use the headphone plug to get the one monitor to work. so if that is a good start please holla back. Thanks

I'm using a TS for hip hop. It does a great job. Yes the sequencer can do it all even vocals with v2 OS but i much prefer using a computer for sequencing and recording. As stated before learn all you can about using the triton to the full and grow from there.
