Hey I have a newbie question(s)

could I use something like this for recording onto a pc? I am also thinking of getting Ntracks as well.

Hmmm. Works fine on my end. Try this link.

Anyway, it's a USB interface controller. It's a Tascam US-428. Hopefully this link will work cuz it's alot to try to describe.

well...yes you can....read the manual at the site (PDF format) but you won't need n-traks...it comes with giga studio and/or Cubase VST software....

do you have an open USB port on your PC?

Yeah, I have a usb port. This thing seems ideal. I already did a search here on it and everyone had nothing but good things to say about it.
