Question Nady Equipment

I was hoping to get some consensus on the quality of Nady equipment. I have purchased some mics from them that I like, but recently I bought a wireless guitar system ( through Musicians Friend ) that didn't work right out of the box! I'm also about to give up on MF as Iv had three screw ups out of Four orders...It sucks to wait for your stuff, only to find they've screwed up the order. I know there has to be a mail order place out there that can get it right..Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated

Thanks

Talking

To Havelen or Not to Havelen:

Twice I bought NEW Nady amps: for stereo systems. TWICE, out of the box, they were defective. I will never buy a Nady product again.

Now, that may not apply to all Nady products. But, if you're getting your orders mixed up by MF -- that happens; they usually make good -- but, they don't always advertise a product and deliver THAT product.

I bought a nady wireless lapel and handheld combo that was advertised as dual channel. Got it two weeks later, hooked it up, and realized the false advertisement. Thats right one channel that both mics share. You cant use them both together too close the the reciever or it goes nuts. For the most part I think their stuff is cheap, well come to think of it, I only paid 80 dollars for the unit........ What was the question again?

Well, that sort of sums it up...it don't sound good... Think I'll try some other products. Thanks everyone.

Most music stores (like Sam Ash) has a Multi-mic set-up allowing
the customer to perform A/B/C etc. comparisons with certain dynamics and condensors. Sam Ash in NYC for ex.,will have an avg of 9-12 mics of var makes & models side-by-side where one can determine clarity, translation, warmth & sensitivity. Mics range
from AKG-Shure dynamics, to Rodes,Marshalls,EV etc. Every week or so they'll change the line-up so one can have the oppty to judge any particular mic's performance.

I have NEVER, EVER SEEN a Nady included in any of Sammy's mic-comparison line-up!

'Nuff said.

Its a shame that GC is pushing the nady condenser mics for studio purpose. I havnt tried them, dont think I will. If its like any of their other mics, its trash.
