Help me out, I need a 88 note weighted controller

Hi,
I need an 88 note weighted controller with picth bend and modulation wheels and midi (in, out, thru if possible).
The most important thing for me is the ACTION. I am used to play the classical piano and I do not want cheap action. I was looking towards the Roland A80. I do not need anything that has sounds IN it, if theirs sounds in it, then, thats good!
I don't want to pay more then 1000$ canadian (about $700-$750 american).

Thx for helping me out,

Thumbs up

Tenkas,

I may be selling a Fatar SL-880, which is regarded by many as having the most authentic piano action of any controller. It's in perfect condition and the price would be well below your target budget. Email me if you're interested and we may be able to work out something that's good for both of us.

Joe

I was going to recommend the very same controller.
I bought one for my daughter to take piano lessons on because it was the most natural feeling weighted controller I could find. (it is very simple to use as well)
I wish I could find some one LOCAL who wanted it. I'd give them one super big throw down incredibly good deal.

I think the Alesis QS8 series was manufactured by Fatar. It has a good, solid, though uninspired sound set by today's standards. The QS had midi in out and thru. If you can find discontinued ones like the original QS8 or QS8.1 (I think they are up to the QS8.2 now).... they should be at or near your price range. (heck a brand new QS8? should be pretty near your price range) I do most of my practice on a Kawai grand and really like the QS action (as far as synths go). IMHO, no synth action comes close to a grand action.

Take Care

I have a Fatar SL-990 paid $350 at Guitar Center. It was the feel that sold me.
