A dear friend of mine is selling this bass on ebay. This guy was the bass player for Daddys Soul Donut here in Texas(a semi known band that got some airplay). He is a good honest guy and I can vouch for him.

Ken Smith 6 string bass with original case. It has a mahogany/bubinga body with maple thru-body neck, and gold hardware. I am the second owner of this bass, the first was Chuck Rainey. A call to Ken Smith with the serial number can verify that. You never know whose record this thing is on!
