my band recently got an email from a company called 97 Radio Productions in Arizona. ive talked with these guys and it sounds like they want me to take it up the butt from them (figuratively). anybody know if they are legit?

they are so full of shit that its not funny. I don't want to get in to a super long paragraph but in short I wouldn't talk to them. If you give them any reason to think that they are going to make money off of you they will never stop calling you. They called me 2 times a day everyday of the week for a month.
Basically they claimed that they had recieved my bands demo from someone at "insert large label here" who was interested in our band but felt we were too big of a risk since we didn't have radioplay. Therefore the guy at "the label" passed the demo on to 97 radio because there job is supposebly to build bands up to a level that the big wigs would like. Also 97 radio supposebly has worked with tons of artist who have made it big. Too bad out of this big list they couldn't give me anyones contact info to verify anything. Anyhow, if youve ever heard my band you would know that NO "major label" had interest in us. The guys at 97 radio didnt even have a clue. Were pretty much like gothenburg death metal and they were just trying to talk it up anyway that they could.
My band never sent them any money and eventually told them to f-off. I would avoid them at all cost, if you need anymore info just msg me and i can go on for days lol.
