If you can find a Casio WK-1350,they have some lovely pan pipes/pan flutes.
And if you can't find a WK-1350 then I would suggest this:

http://www.samash.com/catalog/showit...onetodaythanks

It's brand new and it sounds a million!!!

Did I seriously just see a Casio recommendation in keyboards and sound modules?
I would just pick up a nice Roland or Yamaha sound module, they all have a great pan pipe because pan pipes are an easy instrument to synthesize.

Or get a Casio with built in speakers and risk humiliation from your friends.

I used to have a really cool casio with cheesy drums and a sampler that would map a recorded sound using a crackly mic across the keys...it was hellacool.
I should go find that thing on ebay and buy it....
