I suggest you go here and post a query in tech support about their vintage dual valve mic preamp, possibly model D1. Unfortunately I can't read most of the words in the blurry pictures.

well I found out that it is a old PA-2 supposedly buolt by terry larkin himself. They sold new for $1250, and are supposed to be pretty nice sounding preamps. Not KILLER, but very nice and they are supposed to have a nice DI as well. So that is to say I bought it for $350 (they had been selling between $400-$600.) I
l'll compare it to my Sytek, MOTU, art preamps and report back. Thanks for the help!
