question about a roland groovebox

i have been thinking about getting a roland groovebox to use as a drum machine/programming tool but i had a concern. i record in cubase, is there anyway i can synch the groovebox to cubase so when i push play on the groovebox, it starts recording in cubase? it would really make editing in cubase a lot easier if i could.
