MPD+NI Battery Help

Ive got my mpd16 working and controlling battery, but i can only trigger the same noise in 16 diffirent tones, does anybody have any tips as to loading samples into battery and triggering them with the mpd?

In Battery, you should place each sound in a note cell, than you should be able to trigger each sound with the relative key on a general midi keyboard controller.
DOn't knoe the MPD but I guess it may not be set to trigger different notes, but the same note for all pads... I guess it should be set to control general MIDI.
