Brenell Mini8 one inch - missing pinch roller....

A friend of mine has just got a Brenell Mini 8 (8 tracks one inch) recorder, which is missing the pinch roller. A search on the net for replacement parts didn't yield any results.

Any idea how can we get this machine back to life ?....
