anyone have an otari mx5050 mkIII 1/2" eight track they want to get rid of

The MKII's are on eBay all the time for $150 - 200 + about $70 for shipping. The MKIII will cost you an arm and a leg since it's still being sold by Otari. Don't know the difference between the two. I assume Otari stills supports the MKII.

Yeah, but not the 8-tracks. They still cost multo dolares. The 5050's you see for $150 are the two tracks.

otari does not sell the eight tracks anymore...that's why i'm asking around

Yeah, well the 8-tracks come up on eBay too. But of course they cost money. But hey, that's expected for the top thing...
