What do guys think...

...of sites like CD Luna and CD Baby (the two I've come across), where you send 5 cds out and they take a commission fee for every one sold. Does it work, do you actually get sales through?

For an idea of what I'm cooking up right now, have a look here: http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/sho...threadid=92769

Thanks!

Tom

you can have them there, but the're not gonna sell if you don't drive people to the site yourself.

i don't have experience with these things, but to me it seems more worthwhile to get a paypal account and just sell through your own website..maybe become a member of nowhere radio and garageband.com and hope that that drives some people to your site..........well, unless the amount charged by cdbaby and cdluna is less than paypal.
